Before-School Drop-Off and After-School Pick-Up of Students
We are asking parents to help us improve our before and after school traffic flow and student safety.
The picture below shows the entrance and access road we wish for you and your student(s) to use
between the times of 7:15 A.M. - 7:55 A.M. and from 3:25 P.M. to 3:40 P.M. Please do not drop
students off to school without supervision before 7:20 A.M.
since the school does not have staff on duty prior to this time.
Before school drop-off: Before 7:55 A.M., please drop off
your students at the SE corner of the building using the access
road. After 7:55 A.M., please drop off your student at the
main doors.
After-School Pick-Up: Please pick your student at the SE
corner of the building using the access road between the times
of 3:25 P.M. and 3:40 P.M.
Please do not drop-off or pick-up your student in the front area of the school as we have been
allowing. Congested traffic that involves student drivers, parents, and school busses has been
problematic and often unsafe situations are the result. Thank you for your assistance.
Advisory Conferences: October 18th, and 19th
All junior high and high school students will have their Advisory Conference during October 18th
and 19th. Each student has an Advisory Teacher that is preparing to met with you to review their
academic progress in school, any Kansas Assessment Test scores from last year, and current MAP
testing results from this year.
Your student’s Advisory teacher will be contacting you in the next few days to schedule your
appointment. We want 100% of our students’ parents/guardians to attend these important meetings.
The meeting is scheduled for 20 minutes with the Advisory teacher and there are 10 minute time
slots throughout each evening for parents to meet with individual teachers if they wish.
Please expect a communication from the school or a document that your student will be told to give
you so that we can schedule your conference in a timely manner. Thank you for your supportive
partnership as we all work together to provide the best education we can to your student.
