MVHS Academic Reward Program & Finals Exemption Program

MVHS’ ACADEMIC REWARD PROGRAM

GOLD CARD
                                            QUARTERLY REQUIREMENTS                                               

A. 4.00 GPA, or higher.
B. Have no (0) unexcused absent periods
C. Have 2, or fewer, unexcused tardies
D. Have no ISS, OSS
E. ZAP assignments, 2 or fewer.
F. Involved in at least one (1) school sponsored organization or team.



Per Quarter Rewards
●  $12 (given 12 - $1 Coupons for Concessions)
●  Invited to Special Gold Card Reward Events each quarter.
●  Early Release during Seminar on approved dates for Gold Card holders.








CRIMSON CARD
QUARTERLY REQUIREMENTS

A. 3.495 GPA, or higher this semester
B. Have no (0) unexcused absent periods
C. Have 2, or fewer,  unexcused tardies
D. No ISS or OSS.
E. ZAP assignments, 3 or fewer.
F. Involved in at least one (1) school sponsored organization or team.



Per Quarter Rewards
●  $8 (given 8 - $1 Coupons for Concessions)
●  Invited to Special Crimson Card Reward Events each quarter.
●  Early Release during Seminar on approved dates for Crimson Card holders.










VIKING CARD
                                  QUARTERLY REQUIREMENTS                                               


A. 3.00 GPA, or higher this semester
B. Have no (0) unexcused absent periods
C. Have 2, or fewer, unexcused tardies total
D. No ISS or OSS.
E. ZAP Assignments, 5 or fewer.
F. Involved in at least one (1) school sponsored organization or team.



Per Quarter Rewards
●  $4 (given 4 - $1 Coupons for Concessions)
●  Invited to Special Viking Card Reward Events each quarter.



Finals Exemption Program
MVHS FINAL EXAMS’ EXEMPTION PROGRAM
BOE Approve - August   2017
SEMESTER REQUIREMENTS
If GPA = 4.000, then up to 4 non-exempted days.
If GPA > 3.495, then up to 3 non-exempted days.
If GPA > 2.995, then up to 2 non-exempted days.
● No unexcused absent periods (total from all classes)
● 2, or fewer, unexcused tardies (total from all classes)
● No ISS, or OSS
● No D or F semester grades

If the above requirements are met , then a non-college credit course with an 85% or higher grade can be exempted.
