Students, parents, and patrons welcome back to school as a new year is upon us. We are excited to get another year underway at USD 330 Mission Valley School District and look forward to seeing everyone for the 2018-2019 school year. Each year provides new opportunities for our students at Mission Valley. To maximize those opportunities, it is important that lines of communication remain open among all (students, parents, patrons, staff members, administration) as we shape and mold the vision of our school.

We are constantly collecting input and data as we work with our community to offer our students the best educational experience we can. If our staff can be of help in any way, please let me know. As a district, we take pride in the continued progress of our students and staff. Our staff is dedicated and committed to working countless hours to provide the educational experiences our students deserve and need on a daily basis.

This school year our staff will be working to implement new state standards in Reading and Math as well as introducing a new reading series, Reading Street. Our Mission Valley families play a vital role in helping make those experiences successful. Working together, school and families, we create a culture of involvement and support to help our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. With this partnership, we create the best environment for our students to learn as well as advance their educational future.

I look forward to meeting many of you as we work together to help our students reach new levels of success this year.
