MV's very own K-12 Art Teacher experienced a lofty trip w/the help of the Kansas Army National Guard. Mrs. Palmquist caught a 'lift' on a UH-60 Blackhawk. The event was sponsored by the National Guard as the 'Blackhawk Orientation Flight' for educators. #MVFlyingPaintBrush

Viking Family--It is with great sadness that USD 330 Mission Valley is informing you of the loss of a great employee , valued community member, and long time Mission Valley Viking. The district has received word that USD 330 Mission Valley transportation assistant, Connie Kemp, passed away earlier this afternoon at an area hospital after succumbing to health issues that she had been courageously fighting. Connie had been helping transport students in the Early Childhood Program this school year and previously had also assisted with cleaning of district facilities. For 40 years Connie had resided in the Eskridge community where she and her husband raised two children, Quinton & Corey Kemp (Maddox), both graduates of Mission Valley. Connie also was a proud grandma of three current Mission Valley students McKenna, Addison & Gunner, as well as another grandchild (Kat) who does not attend Mission Valley. Connie's dedication, loyalty, and love of Mission Valley will be deeply missed. Please keep Connie's family in your thoughts and prayers during their time of need.
