Congratulations to Alex Pickett and Megan Deters who were selected to serve on the Kansas FCCLA Peer Education team for 2018-2019 and will represent Kansas at Nationals in Atlanta this summer! Great job, girls!
Congratulations to the Jr. High Quiz Bowl at West Franklin yesterday. Seventh grade placed 1st and 8th grade tied for 3rd.
FFA Ag Mechanics @ Louisburg. Leave MV @ 7:00 a.m. and return around 3:30 p.m.
Elementary Alternative Day (some high school students will be helping with this)
Junior High Book Club has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 28th. Those wishing to participate and have read The Clay Marble need to sign up in the library or office so they can be excused from seminar on Wednesday. This includes 7th and 8th grade.
FCA will have a meeting Wednesday about our upcoming trip to Winter Jam. Don’t forget to attend!
There are sign up sheets on the office counter for Cheer and Dance Tryouts for next year.
The deadline for the three local scholarships that were due on March 1st has been moved to Monday, March 5th.

Congratulations to Alex Pickett and Megan Deters for being selected to serve on the Kansas FCCLA Peer Education team for next year! They will represent Kansas at nationals in Atlanta this summer where they will receive training for their position. Next year they will travel around the state doing presentations at schools. Way to go Mission Valley FCCLA and Mrs. Bergin!
The Elementary Book Fair will be held March 12-15, and will be open during Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Congratulations to our MV High School Wrestlers on a great season! Chris Gleason finishes the season with 49 wins and 148 career wins. The most in MV history. Caleb Hinck and Robert Bridgman fought hard and represented Mission Valley well! Congratulations also go out to Shelby Kesler for her 4th place finish at the Girls State Wrestling meet,

The Daddy/Daughter --Mommy/Son Date Night scheduled for tomorrow 2/23/18 had been postponed. The PTO will reschedule the event. Notifications will be sent out as soon as a new date has been determined.

The FFA Robotics Team thanks all those who donated to the "Kiss the Goat". Thank you also, to Sally Spoon, the winner of kissing the goat for actually kissing the goat!


Congratulations goes out to Faith Martin for breaking the Girls All-Time Leading Scoring and Rebounding record that was set 25 years ago. Also, a thank you to Amanda (Flick) Gutierrez, who had the record, for presenting Faith with her plaque.

The Junior High Cheerleaders will be selling Papa John's Pizza tomorrow night at the home basketball game. $3.00/slice or 2 slices/$5.00
Just a reminder - The 8th grade Love-A-Gram and Friend-A-Gram fundraiser ends tomorrow. Grams are 50 Cents which includes a note and a tootsie pop. You can buy them from any 8th grader or email Debbie Van Cleave at dvancleave@mv330.org.
