VIKING FAMILY---Due to cancellation of school at North Lyon County the Junior High Basketball games scheduled for tonight at North Lyon County have been cancelled. There will not be any make-up games. Game dates & times for next week's Flint Hills League Junior High Basketball Tournament will be sent out as soon as brackets are finalized. GO VIKINGS

Viking Family---Due to the forecasted dangerous wind chills (-10 to -20) and the potential for slick roads in the morning USD 330 Mission Valley will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Thursday, January 6th. There will not be any morning Pre-School. At this time there has not been any changes for afterschool activities and/or events. Information will be sent out if there are any additional changes. Reminder: if you signed your PK-6th grade student up for the dance clinic, it is tomorrow afterschool from 330-5.

SPORTSMANSHIP REMINDER: “JH & HS contests are being played by two teams that are giving it their all in the athletic arena for your entertainment. When teams put forth this much effort, it can create a level of excitement and passion by all in attendance. Due to power outages, wind damage at MV, and the continued increase of positive covid cases the decision has been made to close the school for the remainder of the semester (Dec 16th & 17th). Please use this link to access our finals schedule for Wednesday and Thursday of this week. If your student meets all of the requirements they only have to attend school during the hours they have to take a test. Please call or email the office if your student has your permission to leave after their test if over.
