Just a reminder that tomorrow night is the MV Spring Carnival from 5-8 pm in the HS Commons. Proceeds support our MV PTO. There will be games, a silent auction, concessions and a spring cleaning of MV Prints. It should be a fun night full of activities and something for everyone! Yesterday, the 7-12 students had a presentation from a Kansas non-profit called "Jana's Campaign." This non-profit's mission is about EDUCATION and PREVENTION against gender and relationship violence. The students were given specific definitions of healthy and unhealthy relationships and how to identify both. If you would like to know more about Jana's Campaign or just to get information to help your child develop wholesome healthy relationships of any type, please go to www.janascampaign.org

Mission Valley FCCLA had a fabulous showing at State Leadership Conference!
Ava was inducted as a new Peer Education member.
Clara was installed as the new District D president.
Kenady, Athena & Mrs. Bergin served as STAR Event volunteers.
Our chapter received recognition for being active, having a large membership increase, and having a high percentage of members participating in STAR Events, and recruitment activities during rush week.
Karlyn won four KS FCCLA scholarships, was awarded the District D Member of the Year Award, and presented the national report.
The Gustin Family was honored as the KS FCCLA Family of the Year.

Here are a few updates with JV Baseball & JV Softball now that schools know how many kids they have out. We also have a couple of postponements due to weather. Please make this change on your calendars/schedules:
- JV BSB @ Eskridge TODAY @ 3:30; NO JV SB TODAY (Wab. had to cancel as most of their team is @ State FCCLA).
- JV SB from 3-25 has been moved to 4-11; JV BSB hosts Osage City on 4-11.
- JV SB will host Burlingame on 4-12;
- Var. SB on 4-21 will be AT Burlingame, not MV
- JV SB @ Burlingame Quad. on Sat. 4-30 @ 9:30 am
We are still trying to reschedule the Wabaunsee JV SB game.
