On Monday, January 17th the following basketball games are scheduled to be played in Emporia at White Auditorium.
*JH Girls vs Chase County @ 11:30; Leave MV @ 9:00
*JH Boys vs Lyndon @ 12:45; Leave MV @ 9:00
*HS Girls vs Chase County @ 4:30; Leave MV @ 2:15
*HS Boys vs Northern Heights @ 6:00; Leave MV @ 3:30
---Please note that the JH games on Monday will be a rolling start. Games times are approximate as each JH game will start 15 minutes following the conclusion of the previous game. JH games will have a 5 minute half-time.
*The final games of the JH League Tournament are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, January 19th. Mission Valley will play at Osage City on Wednesday - JH Girls @ 5:30 & JH Boys @ 6:45; Both teams leave @ 4:00. Good Luck to all Viking teams!
Mission Valley High School Wrestling Update---Due to the potential for dangerous driving conditions tomorrow morning and COVID events being faced by multiple schools, the St. Mary's Invitational Wrestling Tournament scheduled for Saturday, January 15th has been canceled.

We are very proud of our Viking Band and Choir students as well as their instructors! Mrs. Hancock, Mr. Kilpatrick/Mrs. Sperry put on a great show! The MVHS Basketball games scheduled @ Chase County on 1/14 have been postponed due to several Covid cases &/or close contacts at Chase County HS. Once we have a makeup date confirmed then we will get the word out

In a very fast-paced contest, MV boys, despite a huge rally in the final 2 minutes, fall to Osage City 47-52.
At halftime the score of the MV boys vs. Osage City is 19-22.
Lady Vikings lost tonight to Osage City by a score of 26-43.
