Summer ball forms are on the table in front of the H.S. office. These need to be turned back in by Friday, March 26th.
Juniors & Seniors – After Prom Party permission forms are on the table in front of the office. Stop by and pick on up as soon as possible. These need to be filled out, one form per couple, and turned in to the office by March 30th. If you are bringing a date who is not a Mission Valley Jr. or Senior you will need to turn in $10 with your form.
Prom Date slips are also on the table in front of the H.S. office. These need to be completed and returned by April 1st if you are bringing a date who is not a Mission Valley Junior or Senior along with $20.

Just a reminder about the Town Hall meeting tonight, March 19 at Wabaunsee High School @ 7:00 pm. on Sexting, Sextortion & Bullying. Past reviews when this meeting has been held say it is very beneficial and highly informative.

There will be a Town Hall meeting this Friday, March 19 at Wabaunsee High School @ 7:00 pm. on Sexting, Sextortion & Bullying. The discussion will be led by experts from the FBI Human Trafficking & Child Exploitation Task Force and Lifehouse Child Advocacy Center.


KDHE will be offering free COVID testing in both Alma and at Lake Wabaunsee. This is free and no proof of insurance is needed. They will be at the Wabaunsee County Fair Grounds from 9 am -1 pm and then at Lake Wabaunsee Fire Station from 2-6 pm. Results will be available in 2 days.

The Honor Roll Early Release for High School Students will be tomorrow Friday March 12th.

We are rewarding our students who made the HS Honor Roll Last Semester with an early release from school!
Students who have the reward card will turn it into the office before they leave. If your student rides the bus they can stay and participate in some fun activities in the gym!
Please call the office if your student needs to stay at the school. They will be released between 2:30-2:45pm.

Reminder: If you arrive at school after the 8:00 a.m. bell rings you must sign in through the office and get an admit slip. If you leave school during the day for an appointment or other reasons you must sign out through the office. We need to know whether or not you are in the building.

Viking Family--(March 9th) Due to wildland fires in the Dover area there may be delays in school transportation this afternoon in the impacted areas. We have reports that roads/intersections are being blocked off in the vicinity of 57th & Davis.
If we are unable to drop you child off at the assigned residence safely, then another location will need to be established with your bus driver. In the event that another location can not be established, your child will be returned to Mission Valley.
If you wish to pick up your child at the end of the day directly from Mission Valley please call your child's administrative office prior to 3:30 p.m.
If you have any questions please contact Mission Valley Transportation Department by calling the District Office and choosing (prompt #4).
