Time is running out! If you haven’t completed the 2020 Census yet, you can still respond online, by phone, or by mail. Census results shape the future of communities, as census data informs how billions of dollars in federal funds are distributed for health clinics, school lunch programs, disaster recovery initiatives, & other critical programs & services for the next 10 years. Please do your part by visiting:

As schools go remote and activities get cancelled, please make sure to stay up to date with our Sport Schedules. We have just updated HS Volleyball and HS Football. You can access all updated schedules here: https://www.apptegy.net/s/documents-district-missionvalleyks/browse/164676#

PSAT/NMSQT Assessment is being held on 10/14/2020 from 8:15-11:30 a.m. This assessment does have scholarship opportunities available for those that score well. This assessment is focused on sophomores, but juniors/seniors can take it as well. Cost is $16, waivers are available. A sign up sheet will be put up next to the counselor's office on 9/4/2020. Slots are limited, so if you would like your child to take this assessment please have them sign up starting 9/4/2020. The more assessments taken, of this type/fashion, will only better prepare them to increase their ACT or SAT scores. Higher ACT/SAT scores increase chances for ease of admission, scholarship opportunities, and the possibility of not having to take some lower lever prerequisite college classes (saves money & time). If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Hancock at jhancock@mv330.org or 866-557-6686 ext 230.

Due to COVID 19, our league schools have established guidelines for participants and spectators. We plan to publish a weekly summary for the next few weeks to help you understand each schools rules.
You will also find a link to the entire League Guidelines document here: http://missionvalleyks.apptegy.us/o/district/browse/164677

FCCLA “Masking” A Difference
This month, FCCLA members came together to help make personal masks for all of the staff members. Emma Slade and Clara Johnson were rockstars at the sewing machines while the other participating members (Paige Sims, KikiWidau, Megan Deters Karlyn Gustin and Athena White) organized, measured, cut, and ironed the fabric. This
project took several days to complete but was well worth it to see all of the staff members wearing handmade masks to keep them safe! FCCLA made a total of 82 staff masks in all. We would like to thank Toni Steere from “A Wing and a Prayer Designs” for the generous fabric donation!
To continue to show our appreciation for teachers, FCCLA members came into the school right before school began to help them set up, decorate and organize their rooms so they would be ready for the first day! Through two days of work, the members helped 17 teachers and staff members and they were so thankful for the help.
Thank you MV Teachers for all you do!
