The Cold Weather Rule ends on Monday, March 31. The Cold Weather Rule protects residential customers, served by KCC regulated utilities, from disconnection when temperatures are forecast to drop below 35 degrees.
In addition, Monday is the deadline to apply for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program, known as LIEAP. Applications for the federally funded program must be received by the Kansas Department of Children and Families by 5 p.m. on Monday. On Friday March 14th, HS/JH StuCo hosted a Kid's Canvas night. 29 PreK-4th graders were able to come and paint by number as well as make arts and crafts, bracelets, and their own work on a blank canvas. Snacks were provided and everybody had a great time!
Our baseball and softball teams have their jamborees at Rossville today. Rossville and Chapman play first at 3:30. We anticipate our games starting around 5:00. Rossville will be having a pulled pork meal and concessions available.
