Viking Family---As part of their monthly safety training, this morning the USD 330 Transportation Department received some valuable, life-saving Stop the Bleed training from Eric Coleman from the Wamego Police Department. Stop the Bleed training is crucial because it empowers individuals to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding, a leading cause of preventable death after injury, until professional help arrives, potentially saving lives. Uncontrolled bleeding from trauma is a significant cause of death, especially for people under 44. GO VIKINGS---BE SAFE, BE TRAINED, BE PREPARED

MV Students visited Stormont Vail Hospital today for a job-site visit to align with each student's college/career readiness and IPS studies. The students learned about the laboratory, the Baker University Nursing School (co-located @ Stormont), and learned about the career opportunities @ Stormont. This knowledge helped the students identify college/career pathways needed to achieve these careers. #MVCareers #MVFutures #StormontRocks
