Here are some pictures from the girls alumni scrimmage tonight. We are planning to have another one next year on Friday, December 27th.
The MVHS basketball teams are hosting an alumni scrimmage fundraiser on Friday, December 29th. Soup, dessert and drinks will be served with a suggested donation of $5 per person.
The meal will start at 6:00 with the girls scrimmage vs alumni beginning at 6:30 and the boys following. Any alumni are allowed to participate and do not have to sign up. We are planning to play 2-20 minute running halves.

Viking Family---The new lights at the softball and baseball fields have been connected. If you drive by over the next 24-48 hours and you see them on please do not be alarmed as they are being tested.

Our annual Lip Sync Battle, Karaoke, and Name That Tune contest were a hit again this year! So many creative ideas from our Viking Hour Families.

Parents/Guardians of MV Seniors: The FAFSA is set to go live around 12/31/2023. Here are two supporting links that will help you better understand the changes and provide you with an opportunity to complete a 'demonstration only' version of the new FAFSA to get familiar with the new version. There will be a FAFSA completion event on January 3, 2024, if you want to attend to get assistance from me and college representatives. We look forward to a festive morning and want to share a few details...
1. Kdg-6th class parties will be from 10:45-11:30 am tomorrow (Wed).
2. Lunch will be served after class parties & students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. If you wish to take your child after the class party, please remind them to NOT sign up for lunch in the morning.
3. Please do not plan to go to classrooms before the scheduled party time to allow teachers an opportunity to finish scheduled activities.

Congratulations to our wrestlers! Wyatt Whitten placed 1st in the JV tournament at Council Grove on Friday and Jena Grame placed 3rd at Chase County today.
They will be in action again on January 5th and 6th at Burlington.
