In honor of our seniors graduating Sunday here are a couple of the pictures from our Luau. This event was organized by teachers in order to reward those students who completed all of their Viking Hour activities this year. We rented an inflatable obstacle course and had a color war, as well as other class competitions.

We will travel from MVHS to K-4 into Dover, followed by Harveyville, and we will finish by traveling through Eskridge back to MVHS. In the past, this has taken roughly 1.5 hours. VIKING FAMILY--Today a ceremony was held to recognize the 5th Grade students as they graduated from their participation in the DARE program. SRO King presented the students with certificates and recognized the two winners of the DARE Essay Contest. The students were treated to t-shirts, pizza, drinks and cupcakes that were purchased by the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office with drug seizure money, the Mission Valley PTO, and local school building funds. Congratulations Mission Valley 5th Graders on the completion of the program and a shout-out to SRO King for providing the instruction and hosting the ceremony!
