We have an action-packed evening planned for our communities tonight at Mission Valley. Our entire K-12 building has worked together as students, staff, and parent organizations in order to make our annual Community Pep Rally a success in Viking Country! Food trucks will arrive at 5:30pm!

Our MV FCCLA had an amazing day at District D Fall Leadership Conference! These leaders represent Mission Valley so well. GO VIKINGS!
Viking Family----The new all-weather track is nearing completion today as crews installed the final layers of material and are now wrapping up the painting process. The sod has been installed on the softball/baseball fields. Workers at the CTE Addition and Vocational Ag building are installing new metal exterior siding, hanging sheet rock for the new classroom walls, and working on the final infrastructure projects.
A special shout-out to BHS Construction, HTK Architects and all the sub-contractors (Jadwin, McElroys, Mid-West Coating, Henderson Fence, Kolde Concrete, United Sports, etc..) for their excellent work on keeping this project moving.
Also, THANKS to all the USD 330 Mission Valley staff, parents, and students for your adaptability, flexibility and cooperation in adjusting schedules and routines to make sure that construction progress continues to move forward.

Here we have some excited freshman in english class stuying for a test, Biology class discussing the reproductive system, JH FACS class learning how to sew a pillow, JH students learning about conflict resolution with Mr. Hancock, our staff dressed up promoting a costume derby race, these pencils were given to each teacher courtesy of our Ag Mechanics class, and lastly some updated pictures of the sports complex. ONWARD VIKINGS ONWARD!

We will have food trucks for your dining options, a 5th/6th-grade football game, a red-wagon parade, a pep rally, a powder puff football game, and a bonfire to end the night.
This is a great night each year seeing our community members pack the stands to support our students.

It was a good day for Mission Valley's JH sports teams.
The football team won an exciting game at Wabaunsee 24-22.
The volleyball team swept all of their matches at Council Grove.
Volleyball plays a triangular at Mission Valley on Monday and both football and volleyball are in action next Thursday against Chase County.

Cross country is running at Council Grove starting at 4:00.
JH volleyball is at Council Grove starting at 4:30.
JH football is at Alma starting at 6:30. There will not be a 5th quarter.

On 9/25, MVHS students participated in a job-site visit @ the Topeka Fire Dept, Station #8. They were able to tour the station, interact with the firefighters, & learn more about the qualifications, expectations, & responsibilities of this profession. #MVcareers #MVfutures

MV hosted Mr. Ron Highland & his wife Mrs. Linda Highland for the career speaker series today. Mr. Highland, a former US Army officer and Veterinarian, spoke about his experiences starting from high school to being a Kansas State Representative for 10 years. Mrs. Highland spoke on her HS career as well as entrepreneurship activities that she participated in. #MVCareers #MVFutures
Happy High Five Friday Viking Country! Today has been filled with Kagan activites, positive interactions, and cooperative learning opportunites while covering cell structures, historical figures, ELA Fact or Fiction, and team building skills. ONWARD VIKINGS ONWARD!
