Qualifications are: (1) You must be Pell Grant eligible or show a household income of $60,000 or less. (2) You must file your FAFSA by the priority date [December 1, 2022]. MV FCCLA officer team wrapped up their time at the annual Take AIM Conference today. Ava & her peer education teammates led a workshop and all members attended workshops and training throughout the day. Ava and Clara also presented about their previous competitive events during the adviser session. Way to go FCCLA!

The Lady Vikings high school volleyball team will play at Council Grove on Tuesday starting at 5:00. This will be our first league action and the first action for our JV and C teams. Go Vikings!

VIKING FAMILY----If you were not able to return your 2022 Mission Valley Bond Election Ballot remember that IT IS NOT TOO LATE. You can still deliver by hand your ballot to the Wabaunsee County Courthouse. You can drop it off at the County Clerk's office or you can use the drop box at the Court House but it needs to be there NO LATER than 12:00 p.m. (Noon) tomorrow, August 30th. Question---Did you know that you can also help out a neighbor and deliver theirs as well? Answer---Yes, you can deliver up to 9 other ballots plus your own. Everyone just needs to remember to sign the outside of their sealed ballot. The Mission Valley Lady Vikes competed in Alma at the Wabaunsee Tournament today. They had several close matches. Their next action is Tuesday at Council Grove. Go Vikings!

ACT District Testing will occur on November 1, 2022. If you would like your 9th-12th Grade student to participate in this testing during school, please have them sign up on the roster outside of Mr. Hancock's office. This test is not FREE. This test is discounted down to around $48 (compared to the regular $56), and all payments for this test will need to go to Marlene at the HS office.
