Today's Career Speaker engagement was with Mr. Jacob Pletcher. He is a manager at the local Pepsico/Frito Lay plant in Topeka, Kansas. He taught the students about the education and/or skills they will need to pursue the different types of careers that can be found here locally. Mission Valley Jr/Sr High School is very excited for our School /Community Service Clean-Up Day taking place next Friday April, 8th. Our staff and students are very excited to get out to our communities and make a positive impact! Our FFA Chapter will also be spending a full day cleaning up the local highways! Also on April 8th we will have our first Jr/Sr High School Community Carnival from 5pm-8pm at Mission Valley! Thank you to all of our community members, sponsors, and businesses that help make this all possible! It is a great time to be a Viking!

Viking Family---The "home" softball and baseball games scheduled for today have been POSTPONED due to field and weather conditions. Work is underway to move the games to tomorrow (April 1st).
