Mission Valley 2022 Back To School Open House and Community Pep-Rally Details: When: Tuesday August 16th -5:00pm-6:00pm K-12 Open House -Get Your Schedules, lockers, drop off supplies -Meet your teachers Where: K-12 Classrooms Community Pep-Rally: When: 6:30pm-7:00pm Where: Football Stadium Free Meal at the Football Stadium serving will start around 6:00pm as everyone gets seated and transitions from Open House. We will also be recognizing our State Championship Baseball and Softball Teams from last school year! We are so excited to see all of our Viking Families come out to this event and celebrate the start of another amazing year in Viking Country! GO VIKINGS!

Parents/Guardians, if your student is taking an ACC college class, the classes start on 8/22/22 here at MVHS. The textbooks will be at MVHS on 8/18/22. If the class requires payment, you can pay online through the students "MyAllen" page, call the Burlingame campus to pay over the phone, or pay in person. Payment has to be done within 3 days after the class starts or the student will be dropped from the course. MVHS does not pay for courses or accept payment for courses, so you will have to work directly with ACC in regards to this transaction.

There will be a coaches/parents meeting for all fall sports on Thursday at 6:00 pm in the high school commons. *Physicals, Concussion Forms, Etc. These forms as well as some others will be available and need to be filled out before your child can participate.

The Mission Valley Football Program had a special event last night. They hosted our 1st ever Lift-A-Thon fundraiser and Commitment Signing Day. The coaches are so proud of the growth they made this summer in all they did. Go VIKINGS! Thank you for showing up to support the team!

Mission Valley USD 330 Enrollment is TOMORROW August 4th 9:00am-7:00pm! Enrollment letters, school supply lists, and school fee documents from Mr. Wild and Mrs. Johnston can be found on the homepage at www.mv330.org Returning Students can enroll online by going to www.mv330.org and clicking on the Powerschool link OR simply log into your parent Powerschool account and click on the Forms option on the left side of the page .- Our building code is FDHK if you are logging in for the first time. Please log out of your account and log back in if you are using a mobile device so your app is updated. We will have computers on-site if you need internet access. New students/parents, please come to the school to enroll for the first time in person. We will have computers available if you do not have access to the internet. Out-of-district families (new and returning) must complete out-of-district request forms for approval prior to enrolling. If you need support logging into Powerschool please contact the office. The Mission Valley Building Code is FDHK. Instructions to enroll online are found here: https://5il.co/1f1lh. Some students will have 'open hours' on their schedule and will need to work with Mr. Hancock to fill those gaps. 7th/8th students were emailed (to their school email) a link to choose which 'Fine Arts: Band, Choir, or Art' course they would like this academic year. 8th grade gets priority choice. Course scheduling is based upon "first come, first serve" so please submit your form ASAP.

Viking Family---Reminder about the upcoming Town Hall meetings (August 1st & 15th) at Mission Valley at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the upcoming bond election and provide patrons the opportunity to tour the facilities.---GO VIKINGS

Viking Family---Please remember that the waiver from the federal government has ended which provided free meals to all students last year. In order to determine eligibility to receive Free or Reduced Meals you will need to complete the application for the 22-23 school year. This application also is used to determine free or reduced school fees. Please contact Mission Valley Schools if you have any questions about the Free or Reduced meal application.--GO VIKINGS

There are (2) Town Hall meetings scheduled to offer the patrons of the district the opportunity to obtain information about the upcoming bond election, to ask questions and to tour the Mission Valley facilities. Meetings are scheduled for Monday, August 1st @ 6:00 p.m. and Monday, August 15th @ 6:00 p.m. Piper-Sandler Finance Company will be at the August 15th meeting to provide details regarding bond financing. FREE Child Care will be provided by Mission Valley FCCLA beginning at 5:45 p.m. Reminder---please make sure you are registered to vote. If you need to register you can visit https://www.kdor.ks.gov/Apps/VoterReg/ Mail-in ballots will be sent out on August 10th to patrons who reside in the USD 330 school district. Ballots must be received by the WabCo Clerk by noon on August 30th. GO VIKINGS!!!!

Several new backpacks have been donated to MV for students PK-12 and can be picked up in the elementary office for free!
