Mission Valley 330

Mission Valley Spring Carnival, April 8 from 5-8 pm. in the High School Commons. There will be games, prizes, crafts, tattoos, and a silent auction. A $5.00 wristband will allow you access to all activities for the night.

USD 330 will be providing a free dental screening next week (3/30/22) to all students enrolled in compliance with Kansas State Statute 72‐5201. All students will be screened unless the parent/guardian does not want the child to participate. Oral health is an important part of children’s overall health, and is a critical component in the child’s ability to learn and succeed in school. If you wish to opt out of the screening, please fill out and return the form at the bottom of the page. JV Baseball & Softball games have been canceled for today due to inclement weather.

We have a Pre-School scheduled for this Thursday, March 24. If you are interested or know of someone who might be interested please contact the Elementary Office at 866-557-6686 to schedule an appointment.

Our MV FFA Horticulture class will host a Plant Sale on Friday, April 29th from 3:30-6:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00-noon. All proceeds go back into our Greenhouse/Horticulture class for future plant sales and learning opportunities. We hope you will add this to your schedule and plan to attend. Everyone is welcome!

Viking Families---USD 330 Mission Valley WILL BE IN SESSION as normal on Friday, March 11th, 2022. Please be patient as there may be some minor delays in morning transportation due to some some issues with a few gravel/side roads At this time, all main roads to and from the school are clear. Stay alert however for areas that may thaw and refreeze overnight. As always, contact the school if your child is not going to be in attendance tomorrow, or if your child is a bus rider and will not need transportation services. Reminder--USD 330 Mission Valley will be on Spring Break next week (March 14th-18th) and In-service on Monday, March 21st. School will resume on Tuesday, March 22nd. GO VIKINGS!

JH Quiz Bowl: Both teams were 4-3 last night. The A-Team finished the season with a record of 20- 15. The B team finished 26-9. It was a good year. Several eighth graders will continue to Scholar’s Bowl with Senora Goldsmith next year. B team will become A team next year. GO VIKINGS!
