The books can be checked out for a maximum of 30 days. The books can be sent home with your student if you are not able to come to the school. Mission Valley will host Riley County this evening with the JV Boys, V Girls and V Boys in the MAIN GYM beginning at 4:30. The JV Girls will also begin at 4:30 in the AUX. GYM and play 2 Qtrs. followed by the 'C' Boys. Good Luck Vikings!

A Special Board of Education meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 7th @ 5:30 p.m. at Mission Valley. The purpose of the meeting with be a BOE work session with HTK Architects. This is only an information, question/answer meeting regarding facility planning. No action will be taken during the meeting.

-Tonight's Basketball game vs. Waverly will begin @ 5:00 with 2 quarters of JV Girls, followed by Varsity Girls @ approx. 5:45 and then Var. Boys @ approx. 7:15. There will not be any JV Boys or 'C' games this evening. -At Halftime of the Boys game, we will recognize our Senior Basketball players, Band members, Cheer & Dance Team. -The After Prom committee will also offer a Taco Salad Meal in the Elementary Commons. This past fall, Mission Valley had 11 students go above and beyond and fill out the National FFA SAE grant application The SAE Grant is designed to help FFA members create or enhance their supervised agricultural experience (SAE). The SAE’s are a requirement that all agriculture education students must complete. SAE’s help to build life-long skills such as hard work, dedication, responsibility, financial and time management. Congratulations to these members on receiving these awards. Mission Valley had 2 FFA members who each received a $1,000 SAE grant through the National FFA Foundation. National Winners--$1000: Christopher Cain--Poultry Production Kyler Stephenson–Swine Production Our FFA chapter had 3 state winners through the Kansas FFA Foundation for--$500: Ava Gustin–Service Learning Lexi Studebaker–Equine Sciences DeAnna Smith–Goat Production The New Horizons for Youth Foundation through the Dover Community Foundation has generously donated money to 6 of our students to receive Local SAE grants.
