Viking Families:
The USD 330 Board of Education voted on September 13th to approve COVID testing for students & staff members who have been identified as close contacts. Families and staff may choose to participate in this testing program as it is 100% optional.
This testing is part of a grant offered to school districts by the Kansas Department of Health & Environment and was approved by the Board of Education to allow students and staff the ability to remain at school/work when they are identified as close contacts. USD 330 Mission Valley has submitted the grant application and are awaiting final approval. We will begin testing once we have received the necessary testing supplies.
Detailed information can be found at the following links. This information also can be located on the district website. Go to the Menu tab, click on documents and then locate the Coronavirus (COVID-19) folder.
