Happy National Counselors Week to Mr. Hancock! We appreciate all you do for our students here at Mission Valley!
National School Counseling Week 2022 (#NSCW22) is Feb. 7-11, 2022, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.
Mr. Fiske's horticulture class has been busy prepping and germinating seeds with hopes to have a plant sale in late April. The students have been able to apply planting techniques learned in class, along with how to mix proper soil mediums and what purpose a germination chamber serves. The class is excited to see some growth from the Marigolds that were started last week.

Our MV Varstiy wrestlers will be busy this tomorrow at Silver Lake. The Girls will begin @ 8:00 a.m., while the boys begin @ 9:00 a.m.
Also, the JV Boys will be at the Burlingame JV Tourney, beginning @ 9:00 a.m.

Don't forget the Winter Royalty tonight! HS Girls Varsity starts at 6:00 pm, followed by HS Boys Varsity at approximately 7:30 pm. Crowning of King and Queen will be during half time of the Boys game.
There will also be a JH Fundraiser Nacho Meal. The meal donation is $5.00 and with a drink and cookie it's $7.00.
Due to NEK's injuries and low numbers, there will be NO JV Boys or JV Girls games Tomorrow night. The Var. Girls game will begin @ 6:00 pm, followed by the Var. Boys @ approx. 7:30. 'Winter Royalty' will be celebrated during halftime of the Boys game. Good Luck Vikings!

Please be patient as there may be some delays in morning transportation due to snowy and slick side roads. Make sure that children are dressed appropriately for the cold weather conditions.
