On Friday, October 2nd the VIKINGS will travel to Silver Lake for a varsity football match-up @ 7 p.m. USD 372 Silver Lake is allowing (2) tickets per player. Tickets will be provided to the players on Thursday. Visitors must enter through the gate directly behind the visitor stands. *Masks will be required for entry and at shared common spaces where social distancing cannot be maintained. Example: Concession areas, restrooms, and main entries. *Masks may be removed if social distancing can be maintained. Social distancing practiced in the stands. *Visitors will be required to pay to enter. ($5.00 for adults) ($3.00 for students)

The Junior High Volleyball game vs Council Grove on Thursday, October 1st has been CANCELLED. The Junior High Football game vs Hartford will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st. 8th Fall Athletic Recognition will occur at half-time of the JH Football Game. ***The JH Football game vs Hartford will be played as a 6-man football game.

ApplyKS! (Apply Kansas) will be on Oct. 5, 2020 - 2-3:30 p.m. in the big gymnasium at MVHS. Apply Kansas is a state wide event that allows the Senior class of 2020 to get assistance with & complete applications to the college(s) of their choice. College rep's on site to help with applying and to answer any questions. A raffle will be done to help the student's get the college swag of their choice! Parent's are welcome to help their student with the application process! Students and Parents, it is time to get excited about preparing for college in the Fall of 2021!!!! Please remember to wear your mask, practice good social distancing, and maintain good sanitizing practices.

Reminder that College/Career readiness night is happening starting at 6:30 p.m. @ MVHS Commons - Financial aid, how to prepare for college, and how to schedule your first semester questions to be answered! Lots of College Rep's ON-SITE!!! Pittsburg State, Emporia State, Wash. Tech, Wichita State, Allen Comm. College, and the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, Marine Corps, and Air National Guard. This even is for all students, but the classes are reserved for Seniors and their Parents. COME ON DOWN AND HELP YOUR STUDENT PREPARE FOR WHAT COMES AFTER MVHS GRADUATION!!!

Colleges to be here are ESU, WSU, Washburn, Highland Community College, Washburn Tech, and Allen Community College. Also, the Army, Marines, and Air Force will be here as well.
