USD 330 Mission Valley Schools will have a 2 hr delay today (Friday, January 24th, 2020).
Next Friday, January 31st we play HS Basketball at Lyndon. The Lyndon Lions Club will be hosting a Chili & Chicken Noodle Soup Supper from 4:30-7:30. It is a freewill donation that goes to support Lions Club programs, such as the Lions Club State Band, the Lyndon Library, Lyndon Scouts, Leader Dogs and the Eye Glasses Program. The Dinner will be held in the Lyndon High School cafeteria.
There will be a Golden Girls Dance Clinic February 2 from 1:30-3:00 pm. (Please note the flyer date is incorrect. The date is February 2nd) Dancers will perform at halftime of the Boys game on February 7th. Cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt. Please register by Friday, January 24. https://5il.co/cg33

Students- We will be offering a Pep Bus for students to go support our HS Boys and Girls BB teams this Friday and possibly Saturday. There is a sign-up sheet on the table outside the HS office. There is also a BLUE parent permission sheet that must be signed by your parents and turned into the office by Thursday to be able to ride the bus.
Since you will be leaving school early students must be in good standing, you cannot be failing any classes nor missing any assignments. This is a privilege to
get this opportunity.
BAND and CHEERLEADERS you DO NOT need to sign up or get permission slips. Your sponsors will have your attendance sheet.
STUDENTS that ride the pep bus MUST ride home on the bus.
The theme for Friday night will be VIKING NATION (like Chief Nation) wear your CRIMSON (red) and GOLD.

The HS will be taking a Pep Bus to the games on Friday afternoon. Students need to have a permission slip turned into the office by 9:00 am on Friday morning.
Mr. Johnson MUST HAVE THE SIGNED SHEET. You will not be able to ride the bus if you try and have a parent call in on Friday. If you ride the pep bus you are required to ride the bus back to Mission Valley and will not be allowed to ride home with another student or other parents.
If you ride the pep bus your attendance will be counted as a school activity. The school is sponsoring the opportunity. IF you choose to have your parents call in and excuse you to go to the game it will count as an excused absence, but is not exempt.
Remember, the Pep Bus will be leaving at 1:30 p.m. you will need $3.00 for admission to the game and then any extra money for concessions. The bus will not stop on the way back.

Congratulations to our HS Wrestlers who placed in the St. Mary's Invitational Meet yesterday. MV placed 7th out of 14 teams! Nolan Parker placed 1st. Shelby Kesler, Caleb Lisk, Justice Dunbar, Jon Grame, & Colby Hinck all placed 2nd in their weight groups and Laken Lewis took 4th. Great Job Vikings!!!
