Mission Valley High School band and crew on their way to perform at the Shanghai theatre in Branson, MO.

Last night was the 1st night for Student-Led Advisory conferences @ MV Jr/Sr High School. I received word from many parents how thankful they were for this new process. The real praise goes to all of the students who worked so hard on their presentations! Next conf. is 3/18/19.

The students of Mission Valley send out a bit "Thank You" to the Mission Valley Community for making the 2A Boys Basketball State trip a great experience. Through generous community donations, lunch and admission to the game were provided and $5.00 towards a dinner. Many snacks and water were also provided. Your generous contributions will not be forgotten. Thank you very much from the Mission Valley Students and Staff. Go Vikings!

What a great show tonight. We had the 5th annual Wabaunsee HS and Mission Valley HS vocal and band performances at WHS this year. This is a great tradition with our neighboring school district. The highlight of the show was when the bands played a medley of Queen songs to end a great show of musical talents by all students. The large crowd loved all the singing and music. Thank you Mrs. Durkin, Mrs. Hancock, and Mr. Rogers. Good job Vikings.
