We had a fun walk-through our bodies with the Body Venture. The elementary rotated through different parts of our bodies, while the high school students explained what each part does.

The High School KAY organization is again doing Pennies for Patients, March 5-15. Classrooms will collect students pennies and the elementary class with the highest total will win a party of their choice. If the high school reaches an overall goal of $150 then the 1st hour with the highest totals will get donuts and juice. Please feel free to email Mrs. McGann with any questions you have.

Tomorrow, Tuesday March 6th, the Mission Valley Elementary will be participating in the Kansas State Department of Education program Body Venture. Body Venture consists of: a 45-foot by 50-foot walk-through exhibit representing the human body. Stations and lessons throughout the exhibit a take-home book for students to read with their families Students tour the human body exhibit with Power Panther graphics as a guide. Throughout the exhibit, students will learn how to apply Power Panther's motto: EAT SMART. PLAY HARD. All students will need socks to participate in the exhibit tomorrow. We are excited for this opportunity for our students and look forward to Body Venture tomorrow.

Congratulations to our HS Girls Basketball Team on a Great Season. They fought hard to the end, in a double OT loss to Hoyt-Royal Valley. Although this is not the outcome they would have liked, their grit and determination to play hard to the end is admirable.

Everyone that attends including outside dates must fill out a form and have parent’s signatures. You MUST also go to SkyZone.com/topeka and fill out an electronic waiver. You will not be admitted into after prom without both items complete. Forms are due March 15th. HS students that are interested in receiving a Reward Card for next quarter need to check their Powerschool unexcused periods or tardies, class grades, and how many ZAP assignments they received this quarter for accuracy. All data is finalized at the end of the quarter. Seniors – The Jostens delivery of graduation announcements has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 15th during lunch period.
