These men and women dedicate their time and talent to make sure our students are safely transported to and from school and activities.
National School Bus Safety Week is October 22-26, 2018. This is the perfect time to contact local members of the media and encourage them to include a story on bus safety – including the importance of obeying the law regarding stopped school buses. With a nationwide shortage of bus drivers, you also may want to ask people to consider applying to become a school bus driver.
Kansas bus drivers transport more than 225,000 children to and from schools across Kansas every school day. These drivers are extremely valuable assets and are unsung heroes in communities across the state.
Mission Valley will be hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 31 from 11:30-5:00 pm.

Mr. Moreno’s advance art class received a great presentation from a KC Art Institute representative. Students learned about the Institues’s program and viewed examples of art work that reinforced important art concepts, design, and quality. Thank you Mr. Moreno.
