Mr. Clark bought the workout for Mr. Heath at the carnival and yesterday was the day.
Mr. Clark said he would match what he paid for every student that joined in.
Wyatt Whitten is signing up for the Marine Corps poolee program this weekend, so he joined in. Darrell Garza also joined in.
Friday, we will be hosting the HS Flint Hills League track meet. Field events will begin at 2:00 with the exception of pole vault starting earlier.

With postseason events starting later this week, we wanted to put out some information for parents and patrons.
Regionals for baseball, softball and track will have an admission fee of $8 for adults and $6 for students.
For state, the admission fee is $10 for everyone with the exception of Pre-K and younger being allowed to get in free.
Thursday, our baseball team plays at home against McLouth for the first round of regionals. The game is scheduled to start at 5:00 pm. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students.

The 2nd grade had a field trip to the Emporia Zoo, Peter Pan Park and Splash pad. They had an amazing day!
Congratulations to our 7th Grade Boys on winning the Flint Hills League track and field championship today at Lyndon!
We are looking for 10-15 volunteers to help with some field events for our HS league meet on Friday from about 2:00-3:00 or 3:30. We have adults to run the event. We just need people to help measure, rake, retrieve implements, etc.

Here are some more pictures from the second grade Wax Museum yesterday.
Second grade had their annual Wax Museum on Thursday. The students researched, wrote, and memorized a speech. They were all nervous but did an amazing job!
Due to lack of players available, we will not be playing JV baseball today at Council Grove.
JV softball will be playing as scheduled.
