Our HS Boys Wrestlers will be competing at Rossville at Regionals tomorrow. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9:00 am. Go Vikings!

This morning the Mission Valley High School band performed at the Ottawa Jazz festival. Clinicians then worked directly with the students for nearly an hour, giving feedback and advice. They also attended a performance by the faculty jazz ensemble featuring tenor saxophonist Isaiah Collier.

Come out on Friday to support the basketball teams! You'll also get to see our seniors, Rec players and dance team get recognized for their accomplishments! MV Rec has a meal deal, so you can get some good food as well (see flyer). Go Vikings!

Friday night at our home basketball games, we invite our Rec basketball players to sit behind the benches during the varsity games. The varsity girls game will start around 6:00 and the varsity boys will start around 7:30. Go Vikings!

Friday is Senior Night for our basketball players, cheerleaders and dance team. We will recognize them between the varsity games. All games will be played in the main gym. Schedule 1/2 JV girls 1/2 JV boys V girls Senior Recognition V boys We anticipate Senior Recognition starting sometime between 7 and 7:30, depending on how the games go. Go Vikings!

Thursday, our JH wrestlers head to Herington. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 4:00. Go Vikings!

FFA Community Blood Drive is Wednesday, February 18th from 1-5pm in the south gym. We've had a lot of positive feedback on our streaming capabilities with our new Hudl cameras. We have live streamed nearly every home game and several concerts as well. Our HS basketball teams travel to Burlingame on Tuesday. The JV girls game will start at 5:00 and will only be 2 quarters. The JV boys will start around 5:30. We were told the girls varsity won't start before 6:00. They are having a Chick-fil-A fundraiser for their junior class and it is their senior night. Go Vikings!

Congratulations to our Scholars Bowl Team on finishing tied for 3rd in their pool today at state! They had a great season!

Tonight, we recognized our JH boys basketball team, FFA SAE Grant winners, FCCLA State Qualifiers, State Scholars Bowl Team, Mr. Fiske and Dr. Hoelting for their accomplishments. Way to go Vikings!
