Yesterday, Mission Valley FFA hosted their annual Tracking With Ag Day for the elementary students. This day allows high school agriculture students to expose the agriculture industry sectors to the younger students. 55 FFA members helped this day go off without a hitch! FFA members presented about: - Livestock - Farm machinery - Different species of poultry - "Beans to Bacon" (trail mix lab to replicate swine feed) - Ag Products A huge thank you to our community members that donated items or allowed for use of their equipment to make this day a success.

Mr. Hysten's sports marketing/officiating class has been officiating some flag football this week. As a part of this class students choose a KSHSAA sport and complete coursework to become "certified" as an official. Students can then use the certification to officiate KSHSAA events if they choose to do so. Pretty neat class offered at Mission Valley.
