We had a great pep rally today as we kick off high school basketball season at 430pm vs Lyndon! GO VIKINGS!
MVHS Students visited the Emporia State University campus today where they learned about the admissions process, scholarships, grants, degree programs, the ESports team, toured the campus, & ate at the ESU dining facility. #MVFutures #MVCollegeReadiness #ESU
Due to some illness and having to switch officials around, the JV boys game won't start until the JV girls game is finished probably around 5:45-6:00. The JV girls will still be played at 4:30.

The HS basketball teams play their first games today at Mission Valley against Lyndon. The JV games start at 4:30. There will be no C team games today.

Powered by Coach Fiske's suit and some intense playing, the JH boys were able to win all of their games tonight.
The B team tournament is on Saturday in Council Grove.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Council Grove games scheduled for Tuesday, December 19th have been moved to Wednesday, January 3rd.

Hey families and friends-
The Kindergarten-5th grade are in need of used/new gift bags and tissue paper to wrap some precious clay gifts for Christmas presents. Please don't go out and buy any! Look through your stash at home for these items. Even brown paper bags will work too. Please be send to school as soon as possible. They would need to be the size to hold at least a softball. Be sure to keep the ones you receive over break and send them to school in January - I'll hang onto them for the next year.
Consider holiday shopping for the people on your list with personalized gifts featuring your child's work from our web gallery. Viking Families-------Due to the forecasted freezing fog tomorrow morning combined with the already slick side roads in the district, USD 330 Mission Valley will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, November 28th. There will NOT be any morning preschool or morning practices. Breakfast will be available.

MVE students and staff ended our day today enjoying the snow on the Oberhelman Family Field. Students worked together build a creation and have a class picture. Enjoy some "in progress" pictures. Class pictures will be shared once they are all collected! Huge thank you to the staff for adjusting their schedules to make memories.
Mission Valley is hosting a HS basketball jamboree Tuesday against Lebo and Santa Fe Trail starting at 4:30. The boys will play in the north gym and the girls will play in the south gym.
