Due to low participation in the MVE After School Program, it has been decided to discontinue the program. Friday, November 3 will be the last day of the program. If your family has a remaining balance, a note was sent home today. We appreciate the support of those that participated and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
It was a brisk high five Friday this morning, but our football team and cheerleaders wouldn't miss it for the world.

On Friday, November 10, Mission Valley Elementary School will celebrate Veterans Day with a school assembly at 9:00 AM. The program will consist of individual recognition of the veterans present, students singing patriotic songs, and more. If you have any family or friends who are veterans, please invite them to our Veterans Day program. We would be honored by their attendance and we would appreciate the opportunity to express our gratitude for their service and/or continued service. A veteran is defined as anyone who has completed Basic Training (Active, Reserves, or National Guard). We consider them a veteran if they are still serving or have served.

Viking Parents/Guardians---Just a quick reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday (Oct 18) and Thursday (Oct 19) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday (Oct 20). Also, school districts in Kansas and other states who use Google were contacted by Google and informed that we are to get consent from parents for their child(ren) to utilize Google services as part of their Google Education Account at the school. You will be asked to sign the consent while at the school for parent-teacher conferences.
