Mr. Fiske's Horticulture class has been busy learning about plants but have been able to apply what they have learned with the Garden Tower hydroponic system located in the shop. The class started the seedlings in the classroom and then transferred them to the tower and kept a journal of the plant growth daily. Students enrolled in this class were responsible for tracking growth in inches, checking the pH and making sure the water level and lights were correct. The class is excited to watch the lettuce continue to grow and experiment with other plants like basil, tomatoes, and flowers.

Our Art classes are using Artsonia to showcase their digital portfolios, which we have all enjoyed. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, you can view through Mrs. Palmquist's lastest ArtsoniaOctober Happenings Newsletter. http://artsonia.com/arnews/6KHNDCRR
