Big News From our MV FCCLA!
Mission Valley had an awesome day in Council Grove at our District D Fall Leadership Conference!
The chapter brought home some hardware:
🏆 Chapter Image Award for following dress code, being respectful about the phone policy, keeping our area clean and staying engaged with a positive attitude! This is a traveling plaque and we are honored to be the recipients this year—Especially since our chapter is young this year and none of our members who went today had previously attended this conference!
🏆 Spotlight Chapter High Honors—State WINNER! This is an application our officer team completed every spring and showcases all of the activities the chapter does throughout the year. (Special note that Wabaunsee High School earned second place in the state, so FCCLA in Wabaunsee County is rocking right now! ❤️)
Congratulations to our students bringing home individual awards: Adaline, Lucy, Kenady, Ava, Clara, Emma, Haven, Karlyn, Joslyn, Athena & Jena!
Finally, shout out to Clara Johnston who is serving on the District D officer team and did a wonderful job facilitating the conference, filling in last minute to lead a breakout session & representing Mission Valley!

Congrats to MV Varsity and JV in their sweep of Central Heights in their final matches.
Lady Vikings are off to a strong start winning their opening matches at Varsity and JV levels against Central Heights. Great Job!
It's that time of year and we are super excited to have our Scholastic Book Fair during Parent/Teacher Conferences. The Book Fair will be open on October 19-21 in the Elementary Library. The Online Store will open on October 18-31. I encourage you to take advantage of the E-Wallet option. It allows students to purchase books with what is put into their E-Wallet without physically carrying cash. As always, if you have any questions please contact us, 866-557-6686.
